Our Story

Genuine Junction didn't start with a business plan. It started with stubbornness. This is the story of Varun — and of the people who turned that stubbornness into a store, a team, and the trust of thousands of customers.

Age 14: the first laptop

At an age when most kids were busy with exams and video games, Varun was busy with laptops. He sold his first one at 14. The profit was tiny, but the lesson was big: the right laptop can change someone's studies, job or business.

Age 16: a big decision

After skipping classes 1, 3 and 5, Varun finished Class 12 at 16. Then he burned his 10th and 12th marksheets — not as rebellion, but so there would be no “safe” road to go back to.

His father gave him a simple choice: “Study, or pack your bag.” Varun packed his bag. At the gate, his father stopped him — “Stay. Do it your own way.” From that day, the road was his own.

From home to Railway Road

• 2018 — Started selling laptops from home
• 2021 — First shop, at RD City Centre
• 2022 — Moved to Railway Road, Hisar
• 2026 — Took the shop next door too: today a 1,750 sq ft showroom and repair lab

The road wasn't easy. Partnerships broke, trust broke, and there were losses. Each time there was a lesson — and the shutter went up again the next morning.

Two brothers, one mission

Varun's brother Aakash had a secure government job as a court stenographer. Seeing the work being built here, he left that job and joined Genuine Junction. Today the two brothers run it together — with a trained team and our Chief Happiness Officer, Mishti 🐾, who mostly supervises from the floor.
